Aktobe region akim Askhat Shakharov reported to the president on the socio-economic development of the region.
According to the akim, economic growth over the first 11 months of this year was 6%. Industrial production grew by 4%, and the volume of direct foreign investment over the first six months of this year reached $175 million.
The President was informed that a special economic zone will be created to develop Aktobe Airport as a multimodal hub. The project is planned to attract more than 1.2 trillion tenge in investments and create 5 thousand jobs.
The regional akim told the head of state about investment projects being implemented in the region and planned for 2025-2027.
Kassym-Zhomart Tokayev was also presented with models of new facilities under construction in Aktobe. On the instructions of the president, a 700-seat drama theater and a multifunctional stadium for 35,000 spectators will be built in the city.
Let us recall that earlier the head of state visited a mine , college and school in Khromtau, as well as a pipe plant in Aktobe.
