The Head of State signed the Law of Kazakhstan on amendments and additions to some legislative acts of Kazakhstan on state awards, education and protection of children's rights.
The relevant law introduces amendments and additions to the Marriage and Family Code, the Civil Procedure Code of Kazakhstan and the Laws of Kazakhstan.
The Law under consideration introduces a new form of family arrangement for children in the form of foster professional families into the Marriage (Matrimony) and Family Code, defines the legal basis of their activities, the rights and obligations of subjects of legal relations in this area, as well as mechanisms for interaction between foster professional families and authorised bodies in the field of guardianship and other norms, explained earlier, MP Ainur Argynbekova.
The Civil Procedure Code introduces a rule according to which, when adopting a child in respect of whom the applicant's spouse has established paternity, a conclusion of a molecular genetic examination confirming paternity in respect of this child must be attached.
Starting from January 1, 2027, the Law also introduces a licensing procedure for organisations providing services in the field of preschool education and training.
