Key indicators
The volume of industrial production amounted to 507.9 billion tenge.
The volume of agricultural production reached 97.4 billion tenge.
The number of small and medium-sized businesses reached 146.2 thousand, showing growth of 7.7%.
Main projects
Since the beginning of the year, 12 industrial projects have been launched, including the expansion of the GALANZ bottlers production site, the construction of the Bartogay HPP-28 and a cascade of small HPPs on the Sharyn River.
There are 122 projects at the implementation stage worth 2.4 trillion tenge, creating 36,776 jobs.
Development of the cities of Konaev and Alatau
The Smart Qonaev system is being implemented in the regional center,
reconstruction of roads and utility networks is underway.
Adjustments to the general plan and design of the infrastructure of the city of Alatau have begun.
Education sector
Within the framework of the national project “Comfortable School”, 17 schools are being built.
It is planned to build 19 schools through PPP and overhaul 91 educational facilities in 2025–2027.
Instructions of the President
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev noted the importance of high-quality and timely implementation of all planned development plans for the regional center - the city of Konayev, the new city of Alatau and the Almaty agglomeration as a whole.
The head of state instructed to pay special attention to strengthening the potential of industrial zones and the Alatau SEZ, as well as the construction of utility and road networks in populated areas.
