The Akorda press service published the congratulations of the Head of State on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory.
Dear compatriots!
I sincerely congratulate you on the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory!
Every Kazakhstani celebrates this significant anniversary with a special feeling of great gratitude to the generation of Winners.
The bloody war against fascism left an indelible mark on the history of our people. Our valiant warriors demonstrated exceptional courage and bravery, defending the ideals of freedom and justice. Hundreds of thousands of them died in brutal battles. At the cost of incredible efforts and severe hardships, the people of Kazakhstan brought Victory closer in the rear. Day and night they worked in the fields, in factories and plants, meeting the needs of the front.
We carefully preserve the memory of the military and labor exploits of our compatriots. We sacredly honor the names of the heroes who showed a true example of selflessness and courage, and surround veterans with care and support.
In Kazakhstan, an extensive plan of events is being implemented in honor of the anniversary of the Victory. It was decided to name about 500 streets across the country after heroes. A large-scale military parade was held. All this is necessary so that the bitter lessons of that terrible war are never forgotten.
Victory Day once again reminds us of how important it is to preserve peace, friendship and tranquility in our land. I am convinced that these unshakable values will always be a solid foundation for the well-being of our people and the progressive progress of Kazakhstan.
I wish our dear veterans and all compatriots good health, happiness and peaceful skies!
Happy Great Victory Day!
