Bilateral trade between Kazakhstan and Russia continued to shrink in Q1 2025, with mutual trade volume falling by 8.5% year-on-year to $5.3 billion, according to official data.
Kazakhstan’s exports dropped by 8.7% in physical volume (to 7 million tonnes) and by 17.3% in value terms, down to $1.6 billion.
