The President of Kazakhstan emphasized that over more than 30 years of fruitful cooperation, the Asian Development Bank has supported over 170 projects in our country worth over $7 billion, thereby making a significant contribution to economic growth, infrastructure modernization, and improving the quality of life of citizens.
The head of state outlined plans to implement major projects in key economic sectors in the coming years, aimed at ensuring sustainable growth and structural modernization of the country.
Masato Kanda stated that the Asian Development Bank views expanding cooperation with Kazakhstan as a priority. The Bank intends to participate in financing projects in housing construction, emergency management, and other strategically important areas.
The ADB President also noted Kazakhstan's leading position in digital technology and AI implementation, as well as its promising prospects for the development of critical minerals, emphasizing the country's high potential for implementing large-scale investment initiatives.
In conclusion, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev emphasized the sustainable and long-term nature of the partnership between Kazakhstan and the Asian Development Bank and reaffirmed his commitment to further expanding mutually beneficial cooperation.
