The President of Kazakhstan noted that there is significant potential for expanding bilateral cooperation between the countries.
"In 2019, as Foreign Minister, you visited Kazakhstan and declared that you would serve as a trusted friend and, in a sense, our country's ambassador to the European Union. Today, we can confidently say that we have achieved significant results. We have opened embassies in our capitals. Direct flights between the two countries have been launched, and a number of other important initiatives have been implemented. At the same time, I believe we have significant potential for expanding bilateral cooperation. For my part, I am ready to make every effort to further develop our cooperation across a wide range of areas," the Head of State said.
Nikos Christodoulides arrived in our country on the first direct flight from Cyprus, accompanied by a representative business delegation.
"Our countries have significant potential. I hope that today's talks will contribute to the expansion of bilateral cooperation. At the same time, I am visiting Kazakhstan in another capacity. My country currently holds the Presidency of the Council of the European Union. Given the importance of this region, and Kazakhstan in particular, I am also prepared to discuss ways to further develop cooperation between the European Union and Kazakhstan," he said.By the Kazakhstanskaya Pravda
