"Dear compatriots! I congratulate you on Capital Day! Astana is the heart of sovereign Kazakhstan. Our capital is a symbol of the state's independence, the center of the nation's creative energy, focused on the future. All the fateful decisions for our people are made in this city. Astana has become the driving force behind major historical events.
Our capital has acquired the status of a "smart city," implementing fundamentally new governance systems. At the same time, parks, squares, and playgrounds have opened in the capital—all for the residents of Astana and its visitors. Symbolically, on the eve of Capital Day, the People's Constitution came into force, opening a truly historic chapter in the history of our state. This truly historic event marked the modernization of key institutions of government and society. The new Constitutional Law on the status of the capital strengthened Astana's leading role as the country's political, administrative, economic, and cultural center, confirming its special significance in the future development of the state.
Astana's international prestige is also steadily growing, as decisions on the most pressing regional and global policy issues are made there. Astana is poised to become a shining example of the implementation of a new public ethic based on the fundamental principles of responsible citizenship, "Law and Order," and "Taza Kazakhstan."
"I am confident that our capital will prosper and be at the forefront of building a Just Kazakhstan. I wish you, dear residents of Astana, prosperity and success!" the President concluded.
