The head of state held a meeting with the President of Tajikistan.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev thanked Emomali Rahmon for his personal participation in the opening ceremony of the International Multisport Tournament "Future Games 2026" as a guest of honor.
During the meeting, the presidents highly praised the current level of Kazakh-Tajik relations, which are consistently developing in the spirit of strategic partnership and alliance.
The important role of regular political dialogue, as well as active contacts between the governments and business circles of the two countries, was emphasized.
Particular attention was paid to issues of further expansion of trade and economic ties, cooperation in the transport, logistics and energy sectors, as well as the implementation of agreements previously reached at the highest level.
The heads of state exchanged views on current regional and international issues and discussed a schedule of upcoming joint events in a multilateral format.
