The National Bank of Kazakhstan and the People's Bank of China agreed to launch a pilot project for settlements in digital tenge and digital yuan. Furthermore, by the end of 2026, Kazakhstan and China plan to integrate QR payments to simplify cross-border calculations for business and the population.
