Small and medium sized businesses secured loans exceeding 12.3 trillion tenge. According to National Bank data, as of 1 August 2026, banks issued 19.4 trillion tenge in loans to commercial entities. Over the year, this figure grew by 16.1 per cent, or 2.7 trillion tenge.
