Ramstore opens Hypermarket in Almaty

    Turkish developer Migros Ticaret has opened its 12th Ramstore shopping center in Kazakhstan last week, the group said in a statement.
    The first “Ramstore Hyper” opened in Almaty on Friday and reportedly is the “biggest hypermarket” in the country. The store will operate within the Aport Shopping Mall on Almaty-Bishkek highway -- itself the largest shopping mall in Kazakhstan.
    Ramstore has 11 other stores in Karaganda, Shymkent, Astana and Almaty, according to SRI.
