National Fund Assets to reach 30% of GDP

The assets of the National fund of Kazakhstan will be at no less than 30% of national GDP, President of Kazakhstan, Nursultan Nazarbayev stated during the opening ceremony for the 3
rd session of the national Parliament of the 4
th convocation, Kazakhstan Today reports.
"It is important to keep the majority of income from the crude materials sector in the National Fund…," Nazarbayev said.
The President also noted the need for "the responsible management of the country’s total external debt."
"We need to shift to an anti-cyclical fiscal policy, to reduce state expenses during periods of economic growth, and increase them during crises," he said, according to Kazakhstan Today.
