Asian Winter Games Tickets go on Sale December 27

    Tickets for the VII Asian Winter Games will go on sale on December 27, participants in a press conference were told in Almaty.
    Reporters at the press conference were also given information on prices for all events shown ticket samples.
    According to the Chair of the Ticket Department under the Organizing Committee for the Asian Winter Games, Masimzhan Taipov, the prices for the opening and closing ceremonies will be low compared with similar competitions, due to the fact the country's leadership is not pursuing the event as a commercial venture.
    He said tickets for the opening ceremony in Astana will cost KZT 7,500 or KZT 15,000, and the closing ceremony in Almaty - KZT 4,500 or KZT 12,000.
    Ticket prices for sporting events during the Asian Winter Games will range from KZT 750 to KZT 4,500 KZT. The most expensive ticket will be for the final men's hockey tournament, Kazakhstan Today states.
