TurkPA to hold Second Session in Astana in April

    The second session of the Parliamentary Assembly of Turkic-Speaking States will be held in Astana in April.
    The preparation for the Inter-Parliamentary Forum was discussed Wednesday at a meeting of Kazakh MP Amzebek Zholshibekov and Turkish Ambassador to Kazakhstan Lale Ulker, a press release from the Majilis said.
    Zholshybekov heads the Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security in the Majilis.
    The organizational questions of the second meeting were discussed last week in Vienna, as part of the winter session of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly between Ambassador Ulker and TurkPA Secretary, General Ramil Hasanov.
    At present, TurkPA includes Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
    The first meeting of the organization was held last spring in Baku, Trend said.
