Kazakhstan evacuates 21 Kyrgyz from Japan

Kazakhstan’s Emergency Situations Ministry flew 21 Kyrgyz citizens from Japan's quake-hit regions, the Spokeswoman for the Kyrgyz MFA Lira Sabyrova told 24.kg yesterday.
She reported that on March 14, the first group of Kyrgyzstanis returned from Japan on Emergencies Ministry aircraft.
"They arrived in Alamty during the evening. Today, they will arrive in Bishkek in the afternoon," she said.
The Japanese authorities have said radiation levels dropped at the earthquake-damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear plant Tuesday.
There are six reactors at Fukushima Daiichi, which is located in northeastern Japan, about 40 miles (65 kilometers) south of Sendai, one of the areas worst hit by Friday's earthquake and the resulting tsunami, Trend said.
