President congratulates War Veterans in Almaty

    Kazakhstan celebrated Victory Day, with Nursultan Nazarbayev spending the holiday together with war veterans in Almaty.
    The head of state laid flowers at the eternal flame in Panfilov Park, and wished all the people of Kazakhstan a happy Victory Day.
    Like every year, there was a special atmosphere on May 9 involving the eternal flame, war veterans wearing medals, a sea of flowers, war songs and dances, as well as soldiers’ porridge. This was the 66^th time the world celebrated its great victory in the deadliest war in the history of humankind, Caspionet said.
