Constitution Day Military Parade takes place in Astana

A military parade took place at the "Kazakh Eli" monument in Astana on the main square.
The parade was attended by President and Supreme Commander in Chief of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev.
More than 250 weapons and military equipment passed during a military parade this year in the main square of the capital on Aug. 30 - the Constitution Day of Kazakhstan. Last year, the parade's mechanized column was over 150 units, the press service of the Kazakh Ministry of Defense reported.
The mechanized column included new designs - BMPT (tank support combat vehicle), heavy flamethrower system and BTR-82, modernized with firepower.
The mechanized columns of Kazakhstan included "Strela-10", "S-300", "S-200" and "S-125", "S-75." In addition, the parade prepared such arms and complexes as "Naiza", "Acacia", "Msta", "Tulip," "Smerch", "Rapier", "Storm," "Hail," "Hurricane", howitzer D -30, automobile equipment - "Land Rover", "Hammer" and many more, Trend reports.
