Trial of Kazakhs accused on fraud to start in U.S.

The trial of Kazakhstan citizens accused of credit card fraud will start shortly in the U.S., Tengrinews.kz reports.
Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry has checked the citizenship of the persons that were apprehended on suspicion of credit card fraud. Reports that 22-year-old Kamal Zhetpispayev and Grigoriy Zossim are citizens of Kazakhstan have been confirmed.
“Our consulate in the U.S. has sent a request to the Americans. Unfortunately, these are Kazakhstani citizens indeed. A trial of Kazakhstani citizens will be held in the near future,” Official Spokesperson for Kazakhstan’s Foreign Ministry Altai Abibullayev said on January 23, www.tengrinews.kz reports.
