    President Nursultan Nazarbayev'a Address to the people of Kazakhstan, which was called - Social and Economic Modernization - the Main Vector for Kazakhstan's Development as of January 27, 2012 is not only being widely discussed in Kazakhstan, but far outside the country, visiting diplomats said.
    Speaking to a Kazinform correspondent, Chairman of the Jordanian Senate, Taher al-Masri commented on the address.
    "I would like to congratulate the people of Kazakhstan on the 20th anniversary of their independence. Kazakhstan is well-known for its ambition, progress and initiatives," he said.
    He also noted that Nursultan Nazarbayev's State of the Nation Address reflected his leadership, vision, effort to understand global realities and keep up with the times through measures to strengthen the national economy and improve people's welfare.
    "The president's support for creativity and innovation in industrial projects, the formation of a favorable environment for research activities and ongoing development of scientific research centers, effective partnership relations between universities and public sectors, as well as the goal as outlined by the president to activate and develop the Business Road Map-2020, as well as strengthening business and investments are a source of inspiration for us," Taher al-Masri said.
    He added it is important that Nazarbayev pay much attention to agriculture, food security, energy production and renewable energy sources and employment, according to Gazeta.kz.
