Kazakhstan investigating mass murder at Alatau natural reserve

The mass murder of 11 people at the Ili-Alatau natural reserve of the Almaty Oblast was near the Kazakh-Kyrgyz border and occurred on August 13, 2012.
Among victims are a forest ranger, his wife, and several other men and women. All bodies have wounds and signs of violent trauma. Police are still looking for the son of the forest ranger.
Kazakhstan’s law enforcement has sent an additional team of forensic experts in inspect the site and investigate the case, reports the Ministry of Interior of Kazakhstan.
The investigation is under the special authority of the ministry.
Some believe the case is related to the incident at the Arkankergen border pass, where border guard Vladislav Chelah allegedly killed 14 other soldiers, CA-News reports.
