Kazakhstan 3 notches up in the WB’s Doing Business 2014

Kazakhstan is ranked 50th in the WB’s Doing Business 2014 report, 3 notches up against last year’s report, Newskaz.ru reports.
Doing Business presents quantitative indicators on business regulations and the protection of property rights that can be compared across 189 economies—from Afghanistan to Zimbabwe—and over time.
According to the report, Kazakhstan has progressed in Dealing with Construction Permits (4 notches up), Registering Property (9 notches up), Resolving Insolvency (1 notch up).
The country performed the worst in Trading Across Borders.
Singapore is ranked 1
st in terms of ease of doing business, followed by Hong Kong, New Zealand, the USA, Denmark, Malaysia, South Korea, Georgia, Norway and the UK.
Out of the post-soviet space, Georgia is the leader (ranked 8
