Nazarbayev and Putin discuss Ukraine and Eurasian Economic Union

    The presidents of Russia and Kazakhstan, Vladimir Putin and Nursultan Nazarbayev discussed bilateral cooperation in trade, investment, cultural and humanitarian sectors on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Dushanbe on September 12, a news release from the Kazakh leader said.
    Nazarbayev and Putin also discussed the relations between Kazakhstan and Russian within international and regional organizations, including the Eurasian Economic Union.
    The two presidents touched upon the implementation of agreements reached during the meeting of the leaders of the Customs Union states,' Ukraine and officials from the European Union on August 26 in Minsk, Central Asia Online reports.
