Kazakhstan continues government reshuffle

Kazakhstan has continued reshuffling top government post, with Prime Minister Karim Massimov appointing Berdybek Saparbayev as the new deputy prime minister.
Saparbayev previously served as akim of the East Kazakhstan Oblast.
Massimov appointed Daniyal Akhmetov as the new akim in his place. Akhmtove was introduced to his staff on November 11 during a meeting with the regional administration.
Akhmetov has held various senior positions over time. He was akim of the Pavlador Oblast, he was prime minister as well as defense minister.
Adai Akim, has been appointed new prosecutor general of the Kyzlorda Oblast, a news statement from the Prosecutor's Office said. Mr. Akim has replaced Abdikarim Abdullayev in this position, according to Akipress.
