Uzbekistan joins readmission agreement with Kazakhstan

An agreement between Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan on the readmission of people from the two countries was signed in Astana on September 7, 2012. The agreement came into force on May 9, reports the Uzbek Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
“The agreement outlines procedures for the interaction of the law enforcement agencies of Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan in matters related to the transfer and acceptance of persons who enter or live in in another country, thereby violating the national laws of that state,” explains the ministry, according to Akipress.
