Senate ratifies extradition agreement with Italy

    The Kazakh Senate has ratified an agreement with Italy on extradition.
    The agreement was closed in Astana on January 22, 2015.
    It regulates the interaction of the relevant authorities of Kazakhstan and Italy on the extradition of persons who are wanted for criminal prosecution or sentencing.
    The document specifies when a person requested for extradition by one of the parties involved can and cannot be transferred, according to KazTAG.
