12th Interregional Cooperation Forum of Kazakhstan and Russia held in Sochi

    The Russian city of Sochi has hosted September 16 the 12th Interregional Cooperation Forum of Kazakhstan and Russia with the participation of presidents Nursultan Nazarbayev and Vladimir Putin.
    The forum also gathered members of government and heads of the regions of the two states.
    In his speech, Nazarbayev thanked Putin for the excellent level of organization at the event and noted Kazakhstan places great importance on the forum.
    He added the countries should continue boosting trade between their regions during the global crisis.
    The theme of this year’s event was boosting trade of food products, according to Akipress.
