Nazarbayev, Putin to meet today for bilateral talks

    Vladimir Putin will hold talks with his Kazakh counterpart Nursultan Nazarbayev today, Thursday, October 15, Russian Presidential Aide, Yury Ushakov said.
    The two presidents narrow format talks will precede the negotiations of delegations that are expected to end with the signing of three agreements, the Russian media reports.
    Putin will discuss the situation in Syria with Nazarbayev as well as Ukraine following Ukrainian President Pyotr Poroshenko’s visit to Kazakhstan on October 8-9. 
    The sides will also discuss their ties within the Eurasian Economic Union, he said, according to Akipress.
