Fund of the 1^st President' needs to rise to new level, Nazarbayev says

    President Nursultan Nazarbayev has met yesterday with the leadership of the Fund of the First President - Leader of the Nation at the Ak Orda presidential residence, a presidential press statement reports.
    During their meeting, President Nazarbayev was briefed on the results of the fund's operations in 2015 and the first 5 months of current year as well as ongoing and future projects.
    Nazarbayev noted the fund needs to rise to a 'brand new level in its activity' (original - KNL).
    "The key direction of the fund's work is 'the scientific one' (original – KNL). Scientific research, including cooperation with internationally renowned experts in such areas as politics, economics, international relations and security, is of paramount importance," he said.
    The Kazakh president stressed recommendations were needed for the fund's research on vital issues connected to the country's development.
    Nazarbayev also drew attention to the fact that the Fund contributes to the solution of social problems.
    Executive Director of the Fund 'Mr. Murakhanov' (original – KNL) reported on the events organized by the fund during the abovementioned period designed to support young researchers, implementat of social and charity projects, Kazinform reports.
