Kassym-Jomart Tokayev sent a telegram of congratulations to Alexander Lukashenko on the occasion of his re-election to the post of Belarus President.
On behalf of the people of Kazakhstan and personally, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, congratulated Alexander Lukashenko on his re-election to the post of President of the Republic of Belarus.
"The results of the elections held in a difficult political situation testify to the popular support for your strategic course aimed at strengthening the sovereignty and independence of Belarus," the telegram says.
The Kazakh President expressed confidence that mutually beneficial cooperation between Kazakhstan and Belarus will continue to develop successfully for the benefit of the two states’ people.
He wished Alexander Lukashenko full implementation of all his plans as the Head of the Republic of Belarus, and to the Belarusian people - peace, stability, mutual understanding and prosperity.
