On August 16-17, President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev will pay a state visit to the Republic of Korea at the invitation of President Moon Jae In. This was announced by the press secretary of the Head of State Berik Uali.
During the visit, high-level talks are planned, during which the heads of state will consider the prospects for further development of strategic partnership between the two countries.
Following the meeting, it is planned to adopt a Joint Statement and sign intergovernmental documents.
The program of the visit includes meetings of the President of Kazakhstan with the heads of large Korean companies and prominent political figures.
A number of commercial contracts are expected to be signed for implementation of investment projects in Kazakhstan.
It is also planned to open a monument to Abay in Seoul by the Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev.
