In June, according to the Statistics Committee of the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, inflation was 0.2%.

In particular, prices for agricultural products over the past month increased by 0.6%.

According to statistical data, the prices of food products increased by 8.2% yoy. Bakery products and cereals, meat, fish and seafood, dairy products, eggs, oils and fats, fresh vegetables, sugar, confectionery, non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, and fresh fruit, potatoes have risen in price.

In the group of cereals, multidirectional changes in prices are noted. The average price of rice in June 2019. amounted to 350 tenge per kilogram against 292 tenge in June 2018, and for buckwheat at 242 tenge against 255 tenge, respectively.

The average price of granulated sugar in June 2019. amounted to 240 tenge per kilogram, in June 2018 to 223 tenge.

Of meat and meat products, the average price for beef in June 2019 was formed at the level of 1,636 tenge per kilogram, lamb with bones at 1,583 tenge, horse meat with bones at 1,855 tenge, pork shoulder part at 1,370 tenge, sausage half-smoked at 2,087 tenge, chicken legs at 779 tenge.

As indicated in the statistical report, the tariffs for the carriage of goods by all modes of transport in June increased by 0.4%.
