Kazakhstan prepares light industry restart

By 2030, the sector must create 40 thousand jobs, launch 35 investment projects, and nearly double raw material processing.

These targets feature in the new Comprehensive Sector Development Plan discussed at a meeting chaired by Deputy Prime Minister Serik Zhumangarin.

The plan includes 28 support measures.

They address several areas:

• Countering shadow imports;
