Over five years, direct investment in Kazakhstan from abroad has grown by 13%. The largest contribution to the country's economy was made by the Netherlands and the United States. According to the National Bank, in 2017, the gross inflow of foreign direct investment in Kazakhstan amounted to $20.9 billion.
