Almost 85% of dairy products in Kazakhstan are domestic, more than 15% are imported. In January-March 2022, Kazakhstan received 151 thousand tonnes of processed liquid milk and cream, of which 145.2 thousand tonnes (96.1%) were produced by local enterprises, and 5.8 thousand tonnes (3.9%) were imported from abroad.
