A new debt instrument has been launched in Kazakhstan. The AIFC Exchange (AIX) introduced commercial paper, a common type of unsecured short-term debt.
These securities are issued by companies with proven creditworthiness to finance their needs for short-term working capital (payment of wages, settlements with suppliers, and so on).
