European stocks slipped on Thursday following the release of weaker-than-expected readings for US retail sales and manufacturing.
The benchmark Stoxx 600 index fell 0.65% to 414.78, Germany's DAX was 0.55% lower to 12,956.66 and France's CAC 40 was down 1.04% at 6,157.84.
Euro/dollar meanwhile was little changed, adding 0.28% to 1.0009.
