President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev took part in an informal meeting of the CIS heads of state.
President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, President of Russia Vladimir Putin, President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan took part in the informal meeting of the leaders of the Commonwealth of Independent States along with the President of Kazakhstan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the event, the leaders of the CIS countries discussed priority areas of the Organization's activities, plans to strengthen and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation.
Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also congratulated President Vladimir Putin on his anniversary, noting his contribution to strengthening the strategic partnership between Kazakhstan and Russia.
