Kazakhstan sees rise of backroom consumer industry


Households of Kazakhstan in the first half of 2022 produced consumer goods worth 82.4 billion tenge. This is 2.4% more than in the same period last year.

Of all products, 84.8% (69.9 billion tenge) was produced in rural areas. In urban areas, this figure reaches only 15.2% (by 12.5 billion tenge).
