
The Kazakh delegation headed by the First Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Roman Sklyar paid a working visit to Moscow.
The delegation included the Minister of Industry and Infrastructure Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan Marat Karabaev, acting First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan Gabit Syzdykbekov, Chairman of the Board of JSC "NC" Kazakhstan Temir Zholy "Nurlan Sauranbaev.
During meetings with Deputy Prime Ministers of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, Denis Manturov, Alexander Novak, Alexei Overchuk, Minister of Transport of the Russian Federation Vitaly Saveliev, topical issues of cooperation in the fuel and energy complex, the current state and prospects for cooperation in the petrochemical and electric power industries were discussed.
In particular, the topics of development of transport and logistics routes "Western Europe - Western China" and "North - South", construction of new railway lines, reconstruction of roads and checkpoints on the Kazakh-Russian border were touched upon.
Also, the participants of the meeting touched upon the issues of industrial cooperation, namely, the implementation of joint projects in the automotive industry, the mining and metallurgical industry, and the agro-industrial complex.
As a result of the talks, the parties expressed their commitment to the principles of mutually beneficial economic cooperation, the implementation of joint measures to create additional opportunities for closer work in the industrial, trade, economic and investment fields.
The Russian side confirmed its participation in the International Industrial Exhibition “Innoprom. Kazakhstan". It is planned to be held on September 23-25, 2023 in Astana.
