Thousands of HIV cases in Kazakhstan remain unnoticed


As of June 30, 2022, Kazakhstan had about 30,000 registered HIV-positive patients, according to the Kazakh Research Centre for Dermatology and Infectious Diseases of the Kazakh Ministry of Health. Of those, 89.6% (26,900) were Kazakhstani men aged 15-49.
