In his speech, the head of state thanked Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the successful chairmanship of his country in the SCO.
Kassym-Jomart Tokayev congratulated Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi on his country's gaining the full status of a SCO member state, and also noted that the process of joining the organization of Belarus is nearing completion.
It is becoming commonplace to undermine the foundations of international law and its important principle - equal, joint, indivisible, comprehensive and sustainable security. In this regard, we need to remain committed to building a more representative, democratic and multipolar world with the central and coordinating role of the UN," the leader of Kazakhstan emphasized.
The President noted that as a state that stood at the origins of the creation of the SCO, Kazakhstan, within the framework of the upcoming chairmanship in this authoritative organization, will continue to enhance its global role, contributing to the strengthening of friendship and good neighborliness in the SCO space. The head of state presented priorities that will be of strategic importance for all member states of the organization.
Along with this, the head of state noted that today the SCO has confidently embarked on the path of renewal. According to him, in joint work to strengthen the Organization's potential, all efforts should be directed to the implementation of existing agreements.

He invited the heads of the SCO member states to take part in the next summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which will be held in Astana next year.

As a result of the meeting, the New Delhi Declaration and a number of documents were adopted.
