
President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in St. Petersburg (Russia) took part in an informal meeting of the heads of state of the CIS members.
The informal meeting of the heads of state participating in the Commonwealth, along with the President of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, was attended by the President of Russia Vladimir Putin, the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev, the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, the President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Japarov, the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon, President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov, President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
During the event, the leaders of the CIS countries discussed the priority areas of the Organization’s activities, plans to strengthen and further develop mutually beneficial cooperation. There was also an exchange of views on current issues of interaction within the CIS.
Let us remind you that on December 25, 2023, the head of state arrived in St. Petersburg. On the same day, the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan took part in a meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council.
