At a meeting of the Senate Bureau chaired by Maulen Ashimbaev, deputies summed up the results of past trips to the regions for meetings with the population.
The issues raised by residents of villages and districts, as Maulen Ashimbaev emphasized, should be fully taken into account in the upcoming work of the Senate.
“We started the first days of this year with trips to the regions and meetings with the public. We listened to current issues that concern the population and discussed ways to solve them. Now we expect parliamentary requests from senators on important issues. In addition, the issues raised will be reflected during the organization and conduct of parliamentary hearings, as well as government hours. The issues raised by citizens are the focus of attention of senators, and we are aimed at facilitating their positive resolution,” said the Senate Speaker.
Maulen Ashimbaev drew the attention of the meeting participants to the key tasks that the state outlined in an interview with the Egemen Qazaqstan newspaper. He called on senators to start working with the draft Budget and Tax Codes, developed on the direct instructions of the president, now, without waiting for the laws to arrive in the chamber.
The head of the Senate also emphasized the importance of uniting the efforts of all Kazakhstanis to achieve common goals.
