Year of Kazakhstan declared in Ukraine

President Nazarbaev has signed the decree for holding the Year of Kazakhstan in Ukraine in 2007.
The purpose of declaring 2007 as the Year of Kazakhstan is to stimulate cooperation and consolidate ties between the two nations in the economic, scientific and humanitarian sectors, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
