Ecologists demand that TCO pay $593 Million

The Territorial Administration of Environmental Protection of the Atyrau Oblast brought an action against Tengizchevroil (TCO) at the Regional Specialized Inter-District Economic Court demanding the company be fined KZT 74.4 billion ($593.3 million) for ecological violations.
