KarakudukMunai ordered to pay KZT 782.3 Million in Penalties

The Aktau Environmental Protection Public Prosecutor’s Office has conducted an environmental legislation inspection on the operations of KarakudukMunai.
The inspection has determined that KarakudukMunai had flared 19.9 million cubic meters of gas above established limits from August 1, 2008 to September 30, 2008 without permission from authorized bodies.
