Kazakh Senate approves Nuclear-Free Zone Treaty

    Kazakhstan's upper house of parliament on Thursday approved Central Asia's nuclear-free zone treaty.      The treaty now awaits President Nursultan Nazarbayev's signature to take effect.      The treaty prohibits conducting nuclear experiments and the development, production and acquisition of nuclear weapons and other nuclear explosive devices in the zone.      Signatory states also...
