Anvar Saidenov becomes BTA Bank Chairman

    Anvar Saidenov has been appointed chairman of the board at BTA Bank, Kazakhstan Today reports citing a press release from the bank.
    The decision to appoint Anvar Saidenov, the former-chairman of the National Bank of Kazakhstan, as chairman of the board, was made on February 16, 2009, at a session of the Board of Directors of BTA Bank, according to the law on banks and banking activity in Kazakhstan, the press releases reported.
    Roman Solodchenko, who led the bank earlier, has been appointed as vice chairman of the board, according to Kazakhstan Today
