KZT 470 Billion given to Second-Tier Banks

    More than KZT 470 billion has been invested into Kazakhstan’s second-tier banks to stabilize the national banking sector, Chairman of the Board at the Samruk-Kazyna National Welfare Fund, Kairat Kelimbetov said at a selective government session yesterday, Kazakhstan Today reports.
    "KZT 476 billion of state resources has been allocated for the stabilization of the banking sector to Kazakhstan’s four most important banks: Alliance Bank, BTA Bank, the National Bank and Kazkommertsbank," Kelimbetov reported, according to Kazakhstan Today
